Bruce Deming, 48, is Team Director and a Washington,
DC-based attorney with a passion for alpine sports and competitive
Originally from Canada, Bruce has climbed peaks in the Alps, the Himalaya, the Andes, and the Alaska Mountain Ranges, and has been involved in competitive cycling on and off since 1983.
For the last ten years, he has raced mountain bikes in a number of eastern U.S. “24 Hour” events, including the 24 Hours of Canaan and Snowshoe in the four and two-man divisions, and raced in the first annual Shenandoah 100.
In the last two years, he has focused on racing in USCF-sanctioned criteriums and road races, and has dreamed of competing in the RAAM since watching the very first in its inaugural year.
Bruce lives with his chocolate lab “Eiger” in Arlington, VA.
